BACKGROUND
My approach to collecting allowed me to understand that the value of an artwork spans different dimensions: its visual language, its context, the artist’s trajectory, and what it sparks in those who observe it. I learned to give time to contemplation, to research, and to recognize what truly draws me to a piece. That experience gradually shaped the criteria with which I now develop the gallery’s curatorial proposal.
I pursued art studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art. This academic foundation allowed me to deepen a passion I had been cultivating through travels, visits to museums and art fairs, and my first steps into collecting. It provided me with the tools to understand artworks in their context, connect different artistic practices, and cultivate a vision of my own. On a personal level, studying art expanded my way of observing and interpreting the world around me.
