A perspective that bridges artistic sensibility and market knowledge.

I am a lawyer by training and a gallerist by vocation. I have always been drawn to art as a way of viewing life from different perspectives. Traveling and visiting museums, galleries, and international art fairs gradually deepened that passion, naturally leading me toward collecting. Along this path, I discovered that a work of art is not merely contemplated: it can challenge us, move us, and transform our perception.

My connection to art has also been nurtured through study. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in contemporary art, which allows me to delve deeper into its languages, debates, and relationship with the social and cultural context. This academic background enriches my vision and grounds my work as a gallerist.

When you truly immerse yourself in this universe, something shifts: your perspective expands, your sensibility awakens, and you begin to perceive what might have previously gone unnoticed. That personal transformation sparked my desire to create Arit Gallery. The project took shape when two elements aligned: the tangible opportunity to secure a physical space and the inner certainty that I was ready to lead it and let it take flight.

Investing in a physical space today, in an age where technology has taken hold of the image, was a conscious decision. I believe technology and social media are essential; in fact, they are powerful tools for sharing artists' work and reaching new audiences. Yet I love experiencing artwork face to face. No screen can replace the true scale of a piece, its texture, the way light transforms it, or the ability to step closer, step back, walk around it, and return to discover something new. Before a work of art, multiple perspectives exist, each completing it in a different way. I feel the same about books: I can read on a screen, but I still cherish the tangible book that you touch, smell, and hold in your hands.

Furthermore, within a physical space, the artwork becomes a bridge for social connection. An opening brings together people who might otherwise never have crossed paths, and the piece becomes the starting point of a conversation between them. For me, that shared experience of looking together, asking questions, and even holding differing views is one of the deepest reasons for a gallery to exist.

That is why I believe in the importance of bringing art closer to people and creating the conditions for everyone to find their own way of connecting with it. No prior knowledge is needed to begin: curiosity, an emotion, or a question can be the starting point. Arit Gallery was born to foster that encounter—sharing tools to understand the works, opening conversations that invite discovery with confidence and freedom, supporting artists, and introducing their work to new audiences and collectors.
